Take the train and shop and dine in the quaint mining town of Silverton, or experience the new zip lines and canapy tour. Tamarron Golf Resort is a short distance away for those of you that enjoy the game of golf. Mesa Verde National Park is located 30 miles west of Durango where you can visit the long-lost civilizations of the Anasazi cliff-dwellers. Trimble Hot Springs' services include therapy pools and mineral hot springs and is located between Purgatory and Durango. Buck's Livery is the spot for horse rentals and sleigh rides. Music in the Mountains (well known classical symphony music) is always performed mid-summer at the Resort.
